Having a deep passion for programming since the 6th grade, Tanner moved to New York from Rexburg, Idaho in pursuit of computer science degree at New York University. Quickly adapting to school, he was featured in NYU’s newspaper WSN for 2 iOS apps he developed. In addition to several apps, Tanner is working on a GPU-level particle simulator in Metal that it is capable of interactive simulation on millions of particles. He plans to base his honors thesis on this project. At Blue Bite, Tanner oversees all iOS related projects. His favorite programming language is Swift, and it is only fitting that he was the first person to use Apple Pay in NYC.
